Digital Switchover
Between now and 2013, all remaining analogue television transmitters in the UK will be switched off. Any homes and businesses not equipped to receive digital signals by then will be unable to watch terrestrial television. This means both that each television set will have to be equipped with a digital receiver – either built in, as is the case with most newer sets, or in the form of an external Freeview box – and that the TV aerial and distribution system must be suitable for receiving signals in the digital terrestrial (DTT) range, which many of those currently installed are not.
MDTV is ideally equipped to help make the digital switchover as painless as possible for you and your residents. We have decades of experience in the field of communal television, and our engineers are trained to the highest standards in the use of the very latest equipment.
